One of the rarest Woody Station Wagons is now available!
This is an early 1950 Mercury Woody Station Wagon in Laguna Blue Metallic. It has had a frame off restoration done by Nick Alexander Restorations. It has been meticulously restored to original factory specs. This car is a Dearborn winner at the Early Ford V-8 Show.
New for the 1950, was push button door handles, new parking lights and a completely new instrument panel. In 1950, the Station Wagon had full leather interior. This woodie has all 3 seats with seating for eight. The dash board has a wood grain panel.
Less than 800 of the early-version of the 1950 Mercury Wagons were produced. They came standard with leather seats, real wood lower tailgate, rear quarter vent windows, along with mahogany panels inside and out. These valued features were deleted from the later 1950 Mercurys.
Specifications: 255 4 cu. in. flathead V-8 engine. Engine is painted green and engine compartment is painted black. Three speed manual transmission with over drive, coil springs and independent front suspension.
